About This Product
A revolutionary water-based ink with excellent adhesion to super water-repellent fabrics such as sportswear and outdoor wear.
■Applications
- Particularly suitable for waterproof and water-repellent fabrics such as nylon and polyester, but can also be applied to other synthetic fibers and knit fabrics.
-Can be widely used for sporting goods such as patches, shoes, and gloves made of natural and synthetic leather.
■Features
- Excellent adhesion to super water-repellent fabrics with a water pressure resistance of 1,000 mm or less.
・It does not contain formalin and is water-based, so there is no unpleasant organic solvent odor and it can be printed safely.
・It has excellent washing fastness and can withstand dry cleaning and ironing.
■Settings (two-component reaction type with binder system)
・Aqua PT: Glossy clear binder 800g
・Aqua PT (W): White binder 800g
・Aqua PT hardener: 100g
・Crossmin color: 10 standard colors 500g each Yellow, orange, special red, crimson, pink, purple, navy blue, blue, green, black, 6 fluorescent colors 1kg each Yellow, orange, red, pink, blue, green
■Printing plate
・Tetron #50 to #100 are suitable for the screen. Select an emulsion that is water resistant.
- When printing on water-repellent fabrics, keep the emulsion thickness as thin as possible.
・When printing in large quantities, please use urethane reinforcement or waterproof reinforcement.
■Printing
- Make sure to firmly attach the fabric to the printing table so that it does not move during printing.
- Aqua PT can be printed as is, but if you want to soften the ink, dilute it by 2-5% with tap water, or if you want to slow down the drying time, dilute it by 2-5% with Retarder VZ100. However, if the ink becomes too soft, bubbles will easily form and adhesion may decrease, so please be careful about the amount of dilution.
・Please use the softest minourethane red (JISA.55-60) for the squeegee rubber.
・Please use up the product mixed with Aqua PT hardener within 3 hours.
