About This Product

■Summary

MEZS7-1SDAPowerBank is a complete mobile battery solution module using MP2632 that includes a buck charger with BC1.2 detection, an integrated boost function with two independent outputs, and four LED indicators to indicate battery charging status. This solution module uses a close-fitting board and supports two modes of operation: charge mode and boost mode, allowing system and battery power management based on the state of the inputs. When a 5V USB input power is present, the board charges single-cell batteries with a maximum charging current of 3A. In the absence of an input source, the solution module switches to boost mode via the PB pin, powering the SYS output from the battery with a maximum current of up to 3A for the two USB ports. The distribution of current between two USB ports depends on the load on each port. The solution module provides four LED drivers to achieve voltage-based battery fuel gauge display and distinguish between charging and boost modes. To ensure safe operation, this solution module features input overvoltage protection, battery overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown, battery temperature monitoring, and a timer to prevent long-term charging of an unusable battery.
