About This Product

■Summary

The MP4032-1 is a triac dimmable primary-side controlled offline LED lighting driver with a built-in 500V MOSFET. High power factor and accurate LED current control for lighting applications can be achieved with a single-stage converter. Proprietary real current control allows the use of primary side information to accurately control secondary side LED current. Simplifies LED lighting systems and increases efficiency by eliminating secondary feedback components and current sensing resistors. The MP4032-1 features power factor correction and operates in boundary conduction mode to reduce power losses. The DRAIN pin can supply current to the internal charging circuitry for start-up without any appreciable delay. Unique dimming control expands triac-based dimming range. Multiple protection features greatly improve system reliability and safety. These protections include VCC undervoltage lockout, LED overvoltage and overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and overtemperature protection. MP4032-1 is offered in SOIC8-7A package.
