About This Product

■Summary

The MP4027 is a primary-side controlled offline LED controller that provides high power factor and accurate LED current for isolated single power stage lighting applications in an FCTSOT package. The unique real current control method accurately controls the LED current from the primary side information with good line regulation and load regulation. Primary-side control eliminates the need for secondary-side feedback components and optocouplers, greatly simplifying LED lighting system design. The MP4027 integrates power factor correction and operates in boundary conduction mode to reduce MOSFET switching losses. MP4027 has NTC function and is capable of PWM dimming. MP4027's multiple protection features greatly improve system reliability and safety. These features include overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, primary-side overcurrent protection, power outage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, VCC undervoltage lockout, and auto-restart overtemperature protection.
