About This Product

■Summary

HR2000 is a fluorescent lamp ballast controller with PFC function and high voltage half-bridge driver. Using only 16 pins, it provides a cost-effective solution with minimal external components. HR2000 can properly drive two half-bridge MOSFETs to control fluorescent lamps and ensure all functions at the same time. The operating frequency is programmable and the sweep frequency is controlled to limit the preheating current. You can smartly set the preheating time and ignition time according to the lamp type and purpose. Sufficient protection is provided for various failure modes such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, capacitive mode, and end-of-life (EOL). A preheat drive signal is provided in the preheat state to enable low power loss applications that typically require a MOSFET to shut off the filament transformer. The PFC component uses only four pins to provide PFC functionality with on-time (Ton) control in boundary conduction mode (BCM). This is suitable for wide input ranges. PFC components have integrated overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The HR2000 is available in a small, 16-pin SOIC16 package.
