About This Product

■Summary

MP6922A is a dual, fast turn-off, intelligent rectifier for synchronous rectification of LLC resonant converters. This IC drives two N-channel MOSFETs, regulates their forward voltage drop to approximately 30mV, and turns off before the switching current becomes negative. The MP6922A has a light load feature that latches off the gate driver at light loads, limiting current to less than 600μA. The MP6922A's fast turn-off allows both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes. Internal reverse current protection ensures safe operation of the MOSFET even under high frequency continuous current conditions. The MP6922A requires a minimal number of standard off-the-shelf external components and is available in SOIC8E, SOIC8 and SOIC14 packages.
