About This Product

■Summary

The P6922 is a dual fast turn-off intelligent controller that drives two N-CH power MOSFETs in an LLC resonant converter for synchronous rectification. This IC regulates the forward voltage drop of the power switch to approximately 70mV and turns off the power switch before the voltage goes negative. The MP6922 has a light load feature that latches off the gate driver at light loads, consuming only approximately 600μA of current. The MP6922's fast turn-off speed allows both CCM and DCM driving. An internal reverse current protection (RCP) feature ensures safe operation of the MOSFET under high frequency CCM conditions. The MP6922 requires a minimal number of standard off-the-shelf external components and is available in SOIC8E, SOIC8, and SOIC14 packages.
