About This Product

■Summary

The MP44011 is a boundary conduction mode PFC controller with internal harmonic injection. Achieves simple, high-performance active power factor correction with a minimum of external components. Compared to traditional boundary conduction mode PFC controllers, the harmonic injection feature makes it suitable for LED lighting applications. In two-stage LED lighting applications, the harmonic injection function can effectively reduce the bus capacitance between the AC/DC stage and DC/DC stage. Additionally, harmonic injection reduces transformer size, saving board space and BOM cost. The benefits of harmonic injection functionality also apply to typical boost or flyback PFC applications. MP44011 is derived from MP44010 except for the harmonic injection function. The MP44011 is available in an 8-pin SOIC package.
