About This Product

■Summary

MPX2001 is an all-in-one flyback controller solution. The MPX2001 integrates the primary drive circuit, secondary controller, and synchronous rectifier driver all on one chip, providing the benefits of both primary side regulation (PSR) and secondary side regulation (SSR). The MPX200 eliminates the need for feedback circuitry, reducing system complexity. Therefore, the overall BOM cost is reduced. At the same time, the synchronous rectifier (SR) can be perfectly matched to the drive signal of the primary MOSFET. This feature allows the SR to safely operate in continuous conduction mode (CCM), increasing overall efficiency and increasing design flexibility. The MPX2001 has primary output overvoltage protection (OVP), primary overcurrent protection (POCP), output overload protection (OLP) with real secondary detection, internal/external power recovery/interruption (B/O, B/I), short circuit protection (SCP), current sensing short circuit protection (SSP), internal thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and external trigger protection (Ext.P). It has advanced protection features such as: MPX2001 is offered in SOICW20, SOICW20-19 packages.
