About This Product

■Summary

The HFC0300 is a variable off-time controller that uses a fixed peak current technique that reduces the frequency as the load becomes lighter. The result is excellent efficiency at light loads, while optimizing efficiency under other load conditions. When the frequency decreases to a threshold, the peak current also decreases as the load decreases to prevent mechanical resonance of the transformer. When the output power falls below a predetermined level, the controller enters burst mode. HFC0300 has various protection functions such as thermal shutdown, VCC low voltage lockout function, overload protection, short circuit protection, and overvoltage protection. The HFC0300 is offered in a SOIC-7 package.
