About This Product

■Summary

The MP175 is a primary-side regulator that provides precise constant voltage (CV) regulation without an optocoupler. The MP175 supports buck, buck-boost, boost, and flyback topologies. The MP175 integrates a 700V MOSFET and high voltage current source, and also has fixed output options to further simplify construction and reduce cost. The output voltage can also be adjusted to suit different applications. MP175 is a green mode operating regulator. Both peak current limit and switching frequency decrease with load. This feature provides superior efficiency under light load conditions and increases overall average efficiency. The MP175 has multiple protection features including over-temperature protection (OTP), undervoltage lockout (UVLO) on VCC, overload protection (OLP), short-circuit protection (SCP), brown-in protection, and open-loop detection (OLD). These features make the MP175 an ideal regulator for offline low power applications such as consumer electronics and standby power. The MP175 is offered in a SOIC-8 package.
