About This Product

■Summary

The MP174A is a primary-side regulator that provides accurate constant voltage (CV) regulation without an optocoupler. Supports buck, buck-boost, boost, and flyback topologies. Integrated 700V MOSFET, simplifying structure and reducing cost. These features make the regulator ideal for offline, low-power applications such as home appliances and standby power supplies. The device is a green mode operating regulator. As the load decreases, both the peak current and switching frequency decrease. This feature provides superior efficiency at light loads and increases overall average efficiency. The MP174A has various protection features such as thermal shutdown (OTP), undervoltage lockout (UVLO) on VCC, overload protection (OLP), short-circuit protection (SCP), and open-loop detection. Available in TSOT23-5 and SOIC-8 packages.
