About This Product

■Summary

The MP7770 is an analog Class D audio amplifier that can drive either stereo speakers in a single-ended configuration or mono speakers in a bridge-connected load configuration. It is part of MPS' family of fully integrated audio amplifiers that significantly reduce the footprint by integrating: 100mΩ power MOSFET, pop noise rejection during start-up/shutdown, and short-circuit protection circuitry. The MP7770 can deliver 45W per channel into a 4Ω speaker in a single-ended output configuration, or 90W into an 8Ω speaker in a bridged load output configuration under 36V VDD. MPS' Class D audio amplifiers exhibit the high fidelity of Class A/B amplifiers with higher efficiency. The circuit is based on MPS's proprietary variable frequency topology, which provides excellent linearity, fast response time, and operates from a single supply.
