About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ4485 integrates a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with two USB current-limiting switches and a charging port identification circuit. The MPQ4485 has excellent load and line regulation over a wide input supply range and can deliver 6A of output current. The USB switch output is current limited. USB1 supports battery charging specification (BC1.2), divider mode, 1.2V/1.2V mode, and DCP method of USB Type-C 5V@3A DFP mode, and no external user operation is required. USB2 supports DCP and CDP methods. Extensive protection features include hiccup current limiting, output overvoltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown. The MPQ4485 requires a minimal number of standard off-the-shelf external components and is offered in a QFN-26 (5mm x 5mm) package.
