About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ4276A-AEC1 also integrates a Type-C 5V@3A mode configuration channel for each port, as well as a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter and two USB current-limiting switches. The MPQ4276A provides up to 6A of output current (IOUT) over a wide input voltage (VIN) range with excellent load and line regulation. The USB switch output is current limited. Both USB ports support USB Type-C 5V@3A DFP mode, which requires no external user interaction. MPQ4276A uses peak current mode control to adjust the output voltage (VOUT). Under light load conditions, the device enters pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode to improve light load efficiency. Extensive protection features include hiccup current limiting, output overvoltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown. The MPQ4276A requires a minimal number of off-the-shelf standard external components and is available in a QFN-26 (5mm x 5mm) package.
