About This Product

■Summary

MPQ2420A is a step-down switching regulator that internally integrates high-side and low-side high-voltage power MOSFETs. Achieves high efficiency output of maximum 0.3A. Add security redundancy to your system with watchdog integration. A wide input range of 4.5V to 75V can accommodate a variety of step-down applications in automotive environments. A shutdown mode quiescent current of 5μA over temperature makes it ideal for battery-powered applications. By lowering the switching frequency under light load conditions, switching and gate driver losses are reduced to achieve high power conversion efficiency over a wide load range. You can also reduce the switching frequency and short circuit during startup to prevent inductor current drain. Extensive protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown. Thermal shutdown provides reliable and fault-tolerant operation. MPQ2420A is offered in a TSSOP-16 EP package.
