About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ2420 is a step-down switching regulator that internally integrates high-side and low-side high-voltage power MOSFETs. Achieves high efficiency output of maximum 0.3A. Add security redundancy to your system with watchdog integration. A wide input range of 4.5V to 75V can accommodate a variety of step-down applications in automotive environments. The 5µA shutdown mode quiescent current over temperature range is ideal for battery-powered applications. By lowering the switching frequency under light load conditions, switching and gate driver losses are reduced to achieve high power conversion efficiency over a wide load range. Switching frequency and short circuits during startup can also be reduced to prevent runaway inductor current. Extensive protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown. Thermal shutdown provides reliable and fault-tolerant operation. The MPQ2420 is offered in a TSSOP-16EP package.
