About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ6400 family is a microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit that can monitor system voltages from 0.4V and provide reset functionality. The RESET signal is asserted when the voltage on SENSE falls below its threshold (VIT) or when the voltage on manual reset (MR) is pulled to a logic low. The MPQ6400DG-01's reset voltage can be adjusted with an external resistor divider, while the reset voltage can be factory set to match standard voltage rails from 0.9V to 5V. When the SENSE voltage and MR exceed the thresholds, RESET is driven logic high after a user-programmable delay time. The MPQ6400's quiescent current is very low, typically 1.6μA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. Provides a high precision reference to achieve ±1% threshold accuracy. The reset delay time is selectable by a capacitor connected between CDELAY and GND, allowing the user to select any delay time from 2.1ms to 10s. A delay time of 380ms is selected by connecting the CDELAY pin to VCC, and a delay time of 24ms can be selected by leaving the CDELAY pin floating. The MPQ6400 is available in a 2mm x 2mm 6-pin QFN package.
