About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ2946 is a 3-rail, digital, multiphase controller for autonomous driving applications. The device works with MPS' Intelli-PhaseTM products to complete a multiphase regulator (VR) solution with a minimum of external components. This device can be configured with up to 8 phases across 3 rails On-chip multiple programmable (MTP) memory saves and restores device configurations. Device settings and fault parameters can be configured and monitored via the digital interface. The MPQ2946 can monitor and report output current (IOUT) through the Intelli-PhaseTM current sense (CS) output. The MPQ2946 is based on a proprietary digital multiphase nonlinear control that provides fast transient response to load steps with minimal output capacitance. Setting up power loop compensation is easy because there is only one power loop control method for both steady state and load transient response. The MPQ2946 is available in a TQFN-48 (7mm x 7mm) package. Available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1.
