About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ2977 is a two-rail, digital, polyphase controller for autonomous driving applications. The device works with MPS' Intelli-PhaseTM products to complete a multiphase voltage regulator (VR) solution with minimal external components. Can be configured to up to 6 phases for 2-rail operation. MPQ2977 provides memory for saving and restoring device settings. Device settings and fault parameters can be configured and monitored via the serial interface. The MPQ2977 monitors and reports output current (IOUT) through the current sense (CS) output from Intelli-PhaseTM products. The MPQ2977's unique digital multiphase nonlinear control provides fast transient response to load transients with a minimum number of output capacitors. Setting up power loop compensation is easy because there is only one power loop control method for both steady state and load transient response. The MPQ2977 is available in a TQFN-40 (6mm x 6mm) package.
