About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ3410 is a high efficiency, synchronous, fixed frequency, current mode step-up converter with output and input disconnect, inrush current limiting, and internal soft-start. Includes an error amplifier, ramp generator, comparator, N-channel switch, and P-channel synchronous switch (which greatly improves efficiency). An output disconnect feature allows the output to be completely isolated from the input in shutdown mode. The 550kHz switching frequency allows for small external components, creating a compact solution for a wide range of load currents. Internal compensation and soft-start minimize external component count and limit inrush current during start-up. The MPQ3410 integrates a power MOSFET that can support up to 6V output and a typical 1.3A switch current. The MPQ3410 is available in a low profile SOT23-5 package.
