About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ3425 is a 3.5A, 90mΩ current-mode step-up converter with an internal switch that provides a fast-response, high-efficiency regulator. The MPQ3425 has a programmed frequency up to 2MHz that provides easy filtering and low noise. An external compensation pin allows flexibility in setting loop dynamics, and it operates with a small, low-ESR ceramic output capacitor. A soft-start feature reduces inrush current and can be programmed with an external capacitor. The MPQ3425 operates with input voltages as low as 3.1V and can generate 48V up to 350mA from a 12V supply. Extensive protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), current limiting, and thermal protection. The MPQ3425 is available in a low-profile QFN-14 (3mm x 4mm) package with exposed pad.
