About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ4323 is a programmable frequency (350kHz to 2.5MHz) synchronous step-down switching converter that internally integrates high-side and low-side power MOSFETs (HS-FET and LS-FET, respectively). High efficiency output current (IOUT) of up to 3A can be achieved in peak current control mode. A wide 3.3V to 36V input voltage (VIN) range and 42V load-dump tolerance support a variety of step-down applications in automotive input environments. A 1μA shutdown current enables the device to be used in battery-powered applications. It achieves high power conversion efficiency over a wide load range by lowering the switching frequency (fSW) under light load conditions and reducing switching and gate driver losses. An open-drain power good (PG) signal indicates whether the output is within 94.5% to 105.5% of its nominal voltage. Frequency foldback prevents the inductor current from running out of control during start-up. Thermal shutdown provides reliable and fault-tolerant operation. Provides high duty cycle and low dropout mode for automotive cold crank conditions. The MPQ4323 is available in QFN-12 (2mm x 3mm) and QFN-12 (3mm x 4mm) packages.
