About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ4323M is a step-down switching converter with programmable frequency (350kHz to 2.5MHz), synchronous rectification, and integrated high-side MOSFET (HS-FET) and low-side MOSFET (LS-FET). The device can achieve high efficiency output currents (IOUT) up to 3A with peak current mode control. A wide 3.3V to 36V input voltage (VIN) range and 42V load-dump tolerance support a variety of step-down applications in automotive input environments. A shutdown mode quiescent current (quiescent current) of 1μA enables the device to be used in battery-powered applications. By lowering the switching frequency (fSW) under light load conditions and reducing switching and gate drive losses, it achieves high power conversion efficiency over a wide load range. An open-drain power-good (PG) signal indicates whether the output is within 94.5% to 105.5% of its nominal voltage. Frequency foldback prevents the inductor current from running out of control during start-up. Thermal shutdown provides reliable and fault-tolerant operation. Provides high duty cycle and low dropout (LDO) modes for automotive cold crank conditions. The MPQ4323M is available in a QFN-12L (3.5mm x 3.5mm) package.
