About This Product

■Summary

The MP6570 is a high-performance motor controller that incorporates field-oriented control (FOC) algorithms, SVPWM modulation technology, and accurate embedded angle sensors. MP6570 is used for applications with three-phase PMSM and BLDC motors. The MP6570 operates in three modes: speed mode, position mode, and torque mode. Reference commands come from either the digital interface or the pulse width modulation (PWM)/clock input pins. A 10-bit ADC is employed to accurately sample each phase current. The three-phase voltage of the motor is modulated by an SVPWM module with a resolution of up to 12 bits at a switching frequency of 20kHz. A high-speed, high-precision magnetic angle sensor is integrated into the IC to provide rotor position and speed feedback. The position sensor has a data refresh rate of up to 1MHz and a position resolution of up to 14 bits, making it ideal for BLDC and PMSM motor control, especially in applications where high speed or position accuracy is required. The MP6570 uses nonvolatile memory (NVM) to store programmed parameters through selectable I2C, SPI, or RS485 digital interfaces. Application design is aided by the eMotion SystemTM Virtual Bench online developer tool. Extensive protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), rotor lock protection, input bus overvoltage (OVP) and overcurrent protection (OCP). The MP6570 is available in a QFN-32 (4mm x 4mm) package.
