About This Product

■Summary

The MP26075 is a linear, high performance, high efficiency, single cell Li-ion or Li-Polymer battery charger for AC adapter input in plug-in, cradle charger applications. This device controls the AC adapter output voltage relative to the battery voltage to increase energy efficiency. Additionally, MP26075 can provide very low precharge charging current for deeply discharged batteries. To ensure safe operation, the MP26075 controls the power-up sequence. Start the AC adapter first to limit the inrush current when the adapter is plugged in. Other safety features include battery temperature monitoring, charging timeout and fault indication, and input/output overvoltage protection and charging status indication are also provided. The MP26075 is available in a QFN3mm × 3mm package.
