About This Product

■Summary

The MPM3620 is a synchronous step-down converter with an integrated power MOSFET, inductor, and two capacitors. It provides a very compact power solution with only five external components and delivers 2A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input voltage range. The MPM3620 operates at a 2MHz switching frequency and provides fast load transient response. An external AAM pin allows selection of power saving mode or forced PWM mode. Complete protection features include overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown. The MPM3620 eliminates design and manufacturing risk while significantly reducing time to market. The MPM3620 is available in a space-saving QFN-20 (3mm x 5mm x 1.6mm) package.
