About This Product

■Summary

The MP6420 provides overcharge protection with integrated protective open-drain MOSFET for two or three series cell Li-Ion power systems. The MP6420 provides precision overcharge thresholds of ±25mV and monitors the condition of all series battery packs. High precision thresholds allow the MP6420 to internally provide various fixed thresholds from 4.2V to 4.8V. When cell overcharging occurs, the internal protection MOSFET is turned on and an error is displayed after an internally set fixed delay time. The MP6420 is available in a small, space-saving TSOT23-8 package.
