About This Product

■Summary

The MP8128 is a highly integrated power regulator designed to provide efficient, low-noise power and interface signals to the satellite receiver's low-noise block downconverter (LNB) at the antenna port. This IC provides a 22kHz tone signal and a standard I2C interface for satellite receivers. Compatible with DiSEqC 1.x, DiSEqC 2.x. The MP8128 includes a tracking linear regulator in addition to a boost regulator. A boost regulator provides power with a final output voltage of 1.1V above, and a tracking linear regulator provides low-noise power and protects the output from overloads and short circuits. This IC offers many features such as voltage selection, overcurrent protection (OCP), and 22kHz tone signal control. The MP8128 provides a simple solution with low component count and high efficiency. The MP8128 is available in a QFN-20 (3mm x 3mm) package.
