About This Product

■Summary

The MP8124 is a highly integrated voltage regulator designed to provide efficient, low-noise power and interface signals to satellite receiver low-noise blocks (LNBs). Provides 22kHz tone signal output compatible with DiSEqC 1.x. The MP8124 includes a tracking linear regulator as well as a current mode boost regulator. It also features output voltage selection from an external signal and a 22kHz tone shaper. A boost regulator provides a clean power supply 1V above the final output voltage, and a tracking linear regulator protects the output from overloads and short circuits. Protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), short circuit protection (SCP), boost overvoltage protection (OVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP), providing a simple solution with low component count and high efficiency. The MP8124 is available in a 14-pin QFN (2mm x 3mm) package.
