About This Product

■Summary

The MP6003 is a monolithic flyback DC/DC converter that can deliver up to 15W of output power with a 150V power switch. It can also be used in SEPIC boost, flyback and forward type applications. The MP6003 uses a fixed frequency peak current mode primary side controller structure. Features internal soft-start, automatic retry, and includes overcurrent, short circuit, and overvoltage protection. The MP6003 can also skip cycles to maintain zero load regulation. Features a direct optocoupler interface that bypasses the internal error amplifier when isolated output is required. The MP6003 is ideal for communications applications and is offered in a compact, thermally enhanced SOIC8 package with exposed pad.
