About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ3326-AEC1 is a 16-channel white LED driver that operates over a wide input voltage range of 4V to 16V. The MPQ3326 utilizes 16 internal current sources on each LED string terminal. The LED current for each channel is set by an external current setting resistor. The maximum current for each channel is 50mA (VIN ≥ 4.5V). The device integrates an I2C interface with up to 10 programmable I2C addresses via external resistors. This means the MPQ3326 can support up to 10 cascaded devices to drive an LED array. Each channel can be enabled or disabled through I2C. The part employs independent pulse-width modulation PWM dimming and analog dimming for each LED channel, and 12-bit resolution PWM dimming and 6-bit analog dimming for each channel. The ramp rate and phase shift of the LED current can be set to optimize EMI/EMC performance. MPQ3326 can output a refresh signal from the RFSH/FLT pin, and the frequency of the refresh signal is set by a register. LED open and short circuit protection, over temperature protection (OTP) are integrated into the device. When protection is triggered, the fault indicator goes low and the corresponding fault register is set. The MPQ3326 is AEC-Q100 qualified and available in a QFN-24 (4mm x 4mm) package.
