About This Product

■Summary

The MP3371 is a synchronous boost converter with eight current channels designed to drive white LED arrays for LCD panels in tablet and notebook backlight applications. The MP3371 uses peak current control mode and pulse width modulation (PWM) control to maintain regulation of the boost converter. The MP3371 adopts a standard I2C digital interface to set the operating mode, switching frequency, full-scale current of each channel, synchronous or asynchronous mode, dimming mode and duty, and various protection thresholds. The MP3371 has high efficiency due to low headroom voltage for LED regulation and low on-resistance of the switching MOSFET. Synchronous rectifiers save PCB size and total BOM cost. The MP3371 is available in a QFN-24 (4mm x 4mm) package.
