About This Product

■Summary

MPQ8633A-H is a functionally integrated, high frequency step-down converter. The MP2332 is a highly compact solution that provides up to 12A of output current (IOUT) over a wide input voltage (VIN) range with excellent load and line regulation. The MPQ8633A-H operates with high efficiency over a wide IOUT load range. Internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control provides fast transient response and facilitates loop stabilization. The selectable switching frequency (fSW) can be set to 600kHz, 800kHz, or 1,000kHz by setting the MODE pin. This allows constant fSW to be maintained regardless of VIN and output voltage (VOUT). During start-up, an internal soft-start time (tSS) (1ms) allows VOUT to rise in a controlled manner. tSS can be increased by adding a capacitor to the TRK/REF pin. An open-drain power-good (PG) signal indicates whether VOUT is within its nominal voltage range. If the input cannot power the MPQ8633A-H, the PG voltage (VPG) is clamped to approximately 0.7V by an external pull-up voltage. Extensive protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP). The MPQ8633A-H requires minimal standard external components and is available in a QFN-21 (3mm x 4mm) package.

■Reference voltage (VREF) accuracy

・Accuracy of 0.5%VREF from 0℃ to 70℃ ・1% VREF accuracy from -40℃ to +125℃
