About This Product

■Summary

The MP86905 is a monolithic half-bridge with an internal power MOSFET and gate driver. The MP86905 delivers 50A continuous output current over a wide input supply range. The MP86905 is a monolithic IC approach that drives up to 50A of current per phase. The driver and MOSFET integration results in optimal dead time and reduced parasitic inductance for high efficiency. MP86905 operates in the 100kHz to 2MHz range. The MP86905 offers many features that simplify system design. The MP86905 works with a controller with tri-state PWM signals and has accurate current sensing to monitor inductor current and temperature sensing to report junction temperature. The MP86905 is ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are important. The MP86905 is available in a small FC-QFN (4mm x 4mm) package.
