About This Product

■Summary

MP86956 is a monolithic half-bridge with internal power MOSFET and gate driver. The MP86956 delivers 70A continuous output current (IOUT) over a wide input supply range. The device drives up to 70A per phase with a monolithic IC approach. Integrated drivers and MOSFETs provide high efficiency with optimized dead time and reduced parasitic inductance. MP86956 can operate from 100kHz to 3MHz. The MP86956 offers many features that simplify system design. The MP86956 is operated by a controller with tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals and features accurate current sensing to monitor inductor current and temperature sensing to report junction temperature. The MP86956 is ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are important. The MPQ4323 is available in LGA-41 (5mm x 6mm) and TLGA-41 (5mm x 6mm) packages.
