About This Product

■Summary

The MP8795H is a frequency, synchronous buck converter with integrated functions. The MP8795H provides an extremely compact solution with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input range and up to 20A of output current. The MP8795H operates with high efficiency over a wide load range. The MP8795H employs an internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control mode to provide fast transient response and facilitate loop stabilization. The operating frequency can be easily set to 600kHz, 800kHz, or 1,000kHz by setting the MODE pin, and the MP8795H's frequency remains constant regardless of input and output voltages. The output voltage rise slope is controlled by an internal 1ms timer and can be increased by adding a capacitor to REF/TRK. An open-drain power good (PGOOD) signal indicates whether the output is within its nominal voltage range. If the input supply cannot power the MP8795H, PGOOD is clamped to approximately 0.7V with an external pull-up voltage. Extensive protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP). The MP8795H requires minimal standard external components and is available in a QFN-21 (3mm x 4mm) package.
