About This Product

■Summary

MPM82504 is a quad 25A, scalable and fully integrated power module with PMBus interface. This device provides a complete power solution achieving up to 25A per output channel. The MPM82504 has four output channels that can be connected in parallel to provide 50A, 75A, or 100A output current for flexible configurations. This device can also operate the MPM3695-100 in parallel with an additional MPM82504 device to provide higher output current. The MPM82504 operates with high efficiency over a wide load range. The device utilizes MPS' proprietary multiphase constant on-time (MCOT) control, providing ultrafast transient response and simple loop compensation. A PMBus interface allows flexible digital configuration and monitoring of key parameters. Complete protection features include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP). The MPM82504 requires a minimal number of readily available external components. It is available in a BGA (15mm x 30mm x 5.18mm) package.

・3.2V to 16V input voltage range with external 3.3V VCC bias ・Input voltage range from 4V to 16V with internal VCC bias ・Output voltage range from 0.5V to 3.3V ・4 parallelizable output channels up to 25A per channel - Parallel operation using multiple MPM82504 and MPM3695-100 devices - Automatic interleaving for multi-phase operation ・Individual remote sensing for each channel ・PMBus 1.3 compliant Telemetry readback including VIN, VOUT, IOUT, temperature, and faults on each channel ・Each channel can be configured via PMBus: ・Output voltage, soft start time ・Overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage, undervoltage limits, and UVLO ・PWM mode and switching frequency ・Available in BGA (15mm x 30mm x 5.18mm) package
