About This Product

■Summary

MP86950 is a monolithic half bridge with internal power MOSFET and gate driver. It can deliver up to 50A of continuous output current (IOUT) over a wide input voltage (VIN) range. This device can drive up to 50A per phase. Integrated MOSFETs and drivers achieve high efficiency by optimizing dead time and reducing parasitic inductance. The device operates from 100kHz to 2MHz. The MP86950 offers many features that simplify system design and is compatible with tri-state pulse width modulation (PWM) signal controllers. It also features accurate current sensing (Accu-SenseTM) to monitor inductor current and temperature sensing to report junction temperature. This device is ideal for server applications where high efficiency and size are important. The MP86950 is available in a small TLGA-27 (4mm x 5mm) package.
