About This Product

■Summary

The MP86992 is a monolithic half-bridge driver with internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. The device can deliver up to 50A continuous output current (IOUT) over a wide input supply range. The TMP86992 uses a monolithic IC and draws up to 50A per phase. Driver integration and MOSFETs provide high efficiency due to optimized dead time and reduced parasitic inductance. MP86992 can operate from 100kHz to 3MHz. The MP86992 offers many features that simplify system design. The device includes a controller with tri-state pulse width modulation (PWM) signals to support accurate current sensing to monitor inductor current (IL) and temperature sensing to report junction temperature (TJ). The MP86992 is ideal for server applications where efficiency and small size are important. It comes in an LGA-41 (5mm x 6mm) package
