About This Product

■Summary

The MP87190 is a monolithic half-bridge with an internal power MOSFET and gate driver. Up to 90A continuous output current (IOUT) can be achieved over a wide input voltage (VIN) supply range. Quiet SwitcherTM Technology (QST) utilizes a unique circuit design that can only be achieved with monolithic architectures to suppress voltage ringing. This technology limits peak switching voltages above VIN to less than 2V, improving device reliability, reducing EMI, and reducing sensitivity to PCB layout. The MP87190 offers many features that simplify system design. The device operates with a tri-state pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal controller and features Accu-SenseTM current and temperature sensing to monitor inductor current (IL) and report junction temperature (TJ), respectively. The MP87190 is ideal for server and communications applications where efficiency and small size are important. The MP87190 is available in a TLGA-41 (5mm x 6mm) package.
