About This Product

■Summary

The MP2926 is a triple-loop, digital, multiphase controller that powers memory and SoC. Works with MPS's Intelli-Phase™ products to complete a multiphase voltage regulator (VR) solution with a minimum of external components. The MP2926 can set up to two phases of operation for each rail. The IC includes non-volatile memory (NVM) for saving and restoring configurations. IC settings and fault parameters can be configured and monitored via PMBus and I2C interfaces. The MP2926 can monitor and report output current (IOUT) through a current sense (CS) output from an IC with Intelli-Phase™. The MP2926 is based on digital, multiphase nonlinear control to provide fast transient response to transient loads using minimum output capacitors. Power loop compensation can be easily configured for both steady state and load transients using a single power loop control. The MP2926 is available in a QFN-40 (5mm x 5mm) package.
