About This Product

■Summary

The MP3439 is a high efficiency synchronous dual-phase step-up converter with output disconnect. The MP3439 employs constant on-time (COT) control to achieve fast transient response. An integrated P-channel synchronous MOSFET improves efficiency and disconnects the output from the input in shutdown. High-frequency dual-phase switching provides a compact power solution for up to 3A load current (ILOAD) from a single lithium cell battery. The MP3439 provides a 400kHz I2C interface to program output voltage (VOUT), current limit, and light-load operation. It also supports frequency spread spectrum (FSS) to improve EMI performance. The MP3439 is available in a small WLCSP-20 (1.75mm x 2.10mm) package.

・2.7V to 5V input voltage (VIN) ・Output voltage (VOUT) configurable from 5V to 5.5V with 25mV resolution via I2C ・2.5A and 3.5A selectable switching valley current limit via I2C ・23μA quiescent current (self-consumption current) ・1MHz and 2MHz selectable switching frequency (fSW) ・Dual phase boost switching with 180° shift ・Built-in 24mΩ and 29mΩ FETs in each phase ・Constant On Time (COT) for fast transient response - Pulse-skipping mode (PSM), ultrasonic mode (USM), and forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM) configurable via I2C or MODE pin settings ・Frequency spread spectrum (FSS) for improved EMI ・Overcurrent protection (OCP), short circuit protection (SCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and overtemperature protection (OTP) ・Full-scale VOUT disconnection function ・Provided in WLCSP-20 (1.75mm x 2.10mm) package ・Optimized performance by MPS's inductor MPL-AT series
