About This Product

■Summary

The MP1601A is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with integrated power MOSFETs. It provides 1A continuous output current over a 2.3V to 5.5V input voltage range with excellent load and line regulation. Output voltage is adjustable as low as 0.6V. A forced continuous conduction mode (CCM) constant-on-time (COT) control scheme provides fast transient response, low output voltage ripple, and facilitates loop stabilization. Fault protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MP1601A is available in an ultra-small SOT563 package and requires a minimum of standard, off-the-shelf external components. The MP1601A is ideal for a wide range of applications including high-performance DSPs, wireless power supplies, portable/mobile devices, and other power-saving systems.
