About This Product

■Summary

The MP2181 is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with integrated power MOSFETs. It provides 1A continuous output current with input voltages from 2.5V to 5.5V with excellent load and line regulation. Output voltage is adjustable down to 0.6V. Constant on-time (COT) control scheme provides fast transient response and facilitates loop stabilization. Fault protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MP2181 is available in an ultra-small SOT583 package and requires a minimum of standard, off-the-shelf external components. The MP2181 is ideal for a wide range of applications including high-performance DSPs, wireless power supplies, portable/mobile devices, and other power-saving systems.
