About This Product

■Summary

The MP1601 is a monolithic step-down switch-mode converter with integrated power MOSFETs. It provides 1A continuous output current with input voltages from 2.3V to -5.5V with excellent load and line regulation. Output voltage is adjustable as low as 0.6V. Constant on-time control scheme provides fast transient response and facilitates loop stabilization. Fault protection includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MP1601 is available in an ultra-small SOT563 package and requires a minimum of standard, off-the-shelf external components. The MP1601 is ideal for a wide range of applications including high-performance DSPs, wireless power supplies, portable/mobile devices, and other power-saving systems.
