About This Product

■Summary

The MPQ2908A is a high voltage, synchronous step-down controller that directly steps down voltages up to 60V. The MPQ2908A uses a pulse-width modulation (PWM) current control architecture with accurate cycle-by-cycle current limiting and can drive dual N-channel MOSFETs. Advanced Asynchronous Mode (AAM) enables asynchronous operation and optimizes efficiency at light loads. The MPQ2908A's operating frequency can be programmed by an external resistor or synchronized to an external clock for noise-sensitive applications. Extensive protection features include precision output overvoltage protection (OVP), output overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown. MPQ2908A is available in TSSOP20-EP and QFN-20 (3mm x 4mm) packages.
