■Summary

・For IPD system only. This is a rocking device that is combined with the IPD system sensor. The sensor uses the principle of a generator that combines a magnet and a coil, so the faster the speed, the greater the electromotive force, making it possible to detect even the smallest piece of iron. A speed of 10 m/min is the borderline speed that requires a rocking device, and for lines with lower speeds, the original performance can be demonstrated by combining it with the rocking device DB series. ・Detection is possible even when the line starts or stops (0 m/min). ・A freestanding stand can be installed as a special order. ・The position of the motor controller can be arranged depending on the installation location.

■The oscillating device DB series is an additional device for the iron piece detector IPD system.

・The iron piece detector "IPD system" is the base iron piece detector.The iron piece detector IPD system combines a controller and a sensor and is used by attaching it to production lines and inspection machines for a wide range of products such as paper, textiles, carpets, non-woven fabrics, and felt. ・The rocking device is effective for low-speed lines. The sensor uses the principle of a generator that combines a magnet and a coil, so the faster the speed, the greater the electromotive force, making it possible to detect even the smallest piece of iron. A speed of 10 m/min is the borderline speed that requires a rocking device, and for lines with lower speeds, the original performance can be demonstrated by combining it with the rocking device DB series. Detection is possible even when the line starts or stops (0 m/min).

■Principle of rocking device

-The sensor uses the principle of a generator that combines a magnet and a coil, so the faster the line speed, the greater the electromotive force, making it possible to detect minute pieces of iron. ・The IPD system cannot maintain sufficient detection sensitivity if the line speed is slower than 10 m/min. The oscillating device moves the sensor back and forth approximately 100mm left and right at a speed of 14.4m (60Hz)/12.0m (50Hz) per minute, creating a relative speed of over 10m/min between the sensor and the inspection item. By adding a rocking device to the IPD system, sufficient detection sensitivity can be maintained even when the line is stopped or started at a speed of 0 m/min. ・The width of the sensor in the passing direction is 100 mm, and the most severe condition is when the line speed is 10 m/min. The time it takes for the mixed iron piece to pass is calculated as 10 m: 100 mm = 60 seconds: χ, and it passes in χ = 0.6 seconds.
