About This Product

This is a disc-type oil recovery device that can recover oil spills from coasts, ports, estuaries, rivers, and lakes to the open ocean. There are various types that can be used depending on the viscosity of the oil to be recovered, the amount of oil recovered, and the location of use, such as the ``Comara Series'', which is ideal for recovering relatively light viscosity oils, thin oils to high viscosity oils, and the ``Star Disc Series'', which is compatible with ultra-high viscosity oils. The biggest feature of disc skimmers is their low moisture content. Usually less than 2%, it is possible to omit oil/water separation work and shorten the total work time. In addition to the disc type skimmer, there is also a brush type skimmer (Duplex series) that can handle a wider range of viscosity oils. Usually, the drive source is a diesel engine hydraulic drive, but there are also small industrial air-driven and electric skimmers (Comara Micro, Komala Mini) that can efficiently recover floating oil during wastewater treatment.
