■Digital nip measuring device that facilitates numerical management of roller nip width Nip Control's "Roller Nip Indicator"The "Roller Nip Indicator" developed by NIP CONTROL AB, headquartered in Lund, Sweden, is a digital nip measuring instrument that instantly measures the nip width between rubber rolls/cylinders in ink rollers in offset printing machines, coating and laminating extrusion machines, etc., and displays it digitally (LED display).

This nip width, which has a major effect on print quality, can easily change depending on the characteristics of the ink, changes in the rollers (rubber rollers, metal rollers) over time, the printing environment, etc., so regular checking and fine-tuning are essential to stably maintain high print quality.

The roller nip indicator automatically and instantly measures the nip width by simply placing the sensor between the rollers. Accurate and easy numerical control of the nip width not only maintains high print quality (standardizes printed matter), but also eliminates problems such as wrinkles on the original material due to roll bias through simple parallel adjustment during the sheet transfer process.
